28 September 2021 - The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam deployed a 5-person Consular Mission to the Republic of Palau on 20-26 September 2021, the first outreach to the country in 20 months, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team - led by Consul Ferdinand P. Flores and composed of Mr. Matthew Pecson (Passport Officer), Ms. Rosemarie Ramos-Blaser (Consular Assistant-Passport), Mr. Ferdinand Villamor (Consular Assistant-Overseas Voting), and Ms. Shirley Florendo (Finance Officer) - rendered various urgent consular services to more than 800 clients, and conducted coordination meetings with Filipino Community leaders in Palau and with Philippine Honorary Consul Eric Ksau Whipps.
Consul Whipps, his staff and volunteers once again provided full support to the consular team.
